When you buy SIM Card in the newsstands store you may have problem with language, and usualy they do not know detail about tipe of Sim card, size of sim card..…, sometimes they sell regular sized SIM card which won’t work with most new phones. You’d need to trim the card to make it micro.

Mobile Phone Providers in Serbia
There are three established cell networks in Serbia: MTS Telekom, Telenor, and VIP Mobile. Various resellers also offer service, using one of the above three networks. The first MVNOs Vectone mobile and Globaltel have arrived on the scene in 2016 using the VIP network. ( I recommen Telenor, MTS Telekom and VIP Mobile for most travellers )
MTS Telekom for travellers: MTS Telekom is state-owned and market leader in the country with the best 2G/3G/4G coverage. You can buy their SIM cards in every MTS store or from one of newsstands in Belgrade
Option 1- MTS Telekom - Super Tourist SIM
Super Tourist SIM prepaid, it gives you 10GB of the fastest Internet, 30 minutes for international calls and 120 minutes of mts mobile network calls. Package price: 1,800.00 RSD. (SIM prepaid card it ivalid 30 days)
Option 2- MTS Telekom - Simple SIM prepaid card
Price is 300 RSD for a voice and data SIM card with an initial credit of 25 RSD. All new users who activate a prepaid card will receive bonus traffic amounting to 10,000 minutes on-net, 10,000 SMS and 1 GB of internet in domestic traffic as a promotion. By activating the special "welcome bonus" on *100#, users will also get 1 GB of internet valid for 7 days with each additional top-up. Minimum top-up amount is 200 RSD. Prepaid credit stays valid for 90 days from the last top-up, while the SIM card is valid for 12 months from date of its activation or last top-up.
Telenor for travellers:
Telenor is owned by the Norwegian operator is the 2nd provider in the country with a good coverage: 2G 3G 4G/LTE. You can buy their SIM cards in every Telenor store or from one of newsstands in Belgrade.
Option 3 -Telenor Simple SIM prepaid card
Price is 300 RSD for a voice and data SIM card with an initial credit of 30 RSD. One minute mobile call cost 11.90 RSD, SMS cost 6 dinars and you wil get free 2GB of Internet with first top-up. . Minimum top-up amount is 200 RSD
VIP for travellers:
VIP, owned by Telekom Austria, is the smallest provider in the country by customers. You can buy their SIM cards in every VIP store or from one of newsstands in Belgrade.

For 990 RSD Vip sells their Visitor SIM card in their stores. It includes 5 GB data and unlimited Viber not debited for 14 days.
